Untamed

This work emphasises the relationship between femininity, nature, and the lunar cycle. The woman's pose symbolises surrender, connection, and unity with nature, while the wolf represents wildness, instinct, strength, and a strong sense of loyalty and nurture. The moon is central to this story highlighting women’s and nature’s cycles of growth, change, renewal, resilience, and adaptability. The water further emphasises this feeling, as a symbol of cleansing and renewal. These dark waters also imply subconscious or deep thoughts or feelings beneath the surface. The moonlight here symbolises how the natural environment illuminates these deeper thoughts, helping me to process and express them with my art.
