Inspired by the incredible water courses and falls in the Blue Mountains, the painting represents the continuous force of nature and the flow of life, while the act of washing represents purification and self-care. The vibrant green hues further highlight the harmonious connection between the feminine and the natural world. The painting is reflective of the role nature has played in helping me heal physically and psychologically after my diagnosis with sarcoidosis in 2022. It invites viewers to contemplate the importance of the restorative power of nature and finding moments of peace and rejuvenation in our daily lives.
